Owls? That’s really something new. Imagine walking down the streets with an owl perching on your shoulder. I understand that some species of owls have the same lifespan of humans… as long as 70 years.

Were you thinking adoption or artificial insemination? Birthing one of those would be a bitch, especially with those tiny baby beaks. Yeah, I’d try PetSmart first.

Eight thousand words?! I wish.

That was my total word count for the book. I started with just under 6,000 and finished with just over the eight that I showed you… so I wrote about 2,100.
